What AgentScreenshots does

AgentScreenshots is a CLI tool that captures screenshots of web pages using a headless browser running on your machine. The tool reports minimal usage metadata to our servers for license enforcement and billing.

Screenshots stay local

All screenshots are captured and saved locally on your device. We do not upload, store, view, or process your screenshot images. The headless browser runs on your machine — no page content leaves your network.

What we collect

When you use the CLI, we collect minimal usage events containing:

• Whether the capture succeeded or failed
• URL classification (localhost or public) — not the full URL
• CLI version number
• Timestamp

We do not store full URLs, page content, DOM data, cookies, or any information from the pages you screenshot.

Account data

When you create an account, we store your email address. We use this for authentication (one-time login codes) and billing communication. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.

Billing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

Infrastructure

Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers. Account and license data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Both providers maintain their own security and privacy practices.

Offline usage

The CLI works offline. When offline, usage events are queued locally and synced when connectivity returns. You are never blocked from capturing screenshots due to network issues.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. License keys and usage records will be permanently removed.
